My community activities include park revegetation with the Friends of South Surrey Park and taking local action with Lighter Footprints on our journey towards sustainability and building a resilient community.

I have been Convenor of the Boroondara Sustainability Network for two years.
I believe we should preserve the character of our distinctive suburbs, which are recognised for their many examples of fine period housing.
I work as an IT consultant and am a keen cyclist. My daughter attends Canterbury Primary School.
I am a member of the Boroondara Bicycle Users Group and have been working with Boroondara Council for several years to improve cycling paths and facilities for all cyclists. My favourite project is the creation of a safe family-friendly shared pedestrian and cycling path from Hawthorn to Box Hill.
I also the Convenor of Bush Search and Rescue Victoria, a volunteer organisation that assists Victoria Police with search and rescue activities throughout Victoria.
I established Greenlivingpedia in 2007 - a website that anyone can contribute to - for sharing information about green living, green building and community action.
I am not a member of any political party. If elected I will represent on Council all the views of Maling Ward residents, not the interests or policies of any party.
I am passionate about our open spaces, heritage, clean air, conservation of energy and water and provision of quality vital services to our community. This is part of my vision to help build a better, more sustainable city and foster a vibrant and cohesive community.
